Volatus Aerospace has announced a teaming and operations service agreement with DroneUp, LLC. “This strategic partnership will allow Volatus to drive a unified commercial offering for common carrier cargo services across North America, leveraging next generation drone technologies and regulatory approvals,” say the companies in a press release.
“This alliance enhances Volatus’ robust cargo capabilities, following its merger with Drone Delivery Canada, by integrating DroneUp’s commercial operating approval in the USA and their advanced technology solutions including: a certified cargo drone equipped with a winch delivery system, complementing Volatus’ Canary delivery drone; a two-way locker system for autonomous package pickup and delivery and an end-to-end proprietary Traffic Management system.”
