According to a Linkedin post by the U-ELCOME DSD Project: “ENAIRE is expected to begin certification in 2024 and to be able to start providing U-space services in Spain in 2025,” said the Spanish Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente.
The post contains a video in which the minister says:
“With the development of the U-space platform validation, tests have been carried out….supporting the simultaneous management of drones independently managed by the ENAIRE agency systems and other suppliers.
“ENAIRE is expected to start certification in 2024 in order to be appointed by the state (for) common information services at the national level and the provision of its services can begin – U-space in 2025.”
