senseFly’s latest drone flight planning and management release eMotion 3.5 (https://www.sensefly.com/2018/03/27/sensefly-takes-drone-flight-planning-management-next-level-release-emotion-3-5/) now supports uAvionix’s PingUSB ADS-B*/UAT receiver, allowing senseFly operators to view live air traffic data during their missions.
Operators need to simply launch eMotion 3.5, connect the uAvionix PingUSB (available for purchase from senseFly) to the ground station PC and click eMotion’s Air Traffic icon, says the company in a press release (https://www.sensefly.com/app/uploads/2018/03/senseFly_eMotion_3.5-press-release_-final.pdf).
“This live data feed both helps improve airspace awareness and could potentially boost the number of mission types possible, such as projects taking place in congested airspaces like airports, longer-range BVLOS operations and so on.”
