The Global UTM Association (GUTMA) is organizing its first regional UTM conference, the GUTMA APAC Conference on 22-23 March 2018, as part of Japan Drone Expo in Chiba (JP). The two-day event will deliver a professional overview of the status and outlook of UTM in the Asia-Pacific area. More information on the event on its website. Attending the conference is free of charge but participation is by invitation only and the audience is limited to 120 participants. Priority will be given to attendees who actively participate in the development of UTM solutions, regulations or demonstrators, with a maximum two guests/ organisation.
Meanwhile, the association has also announced three organisations have become GUTMA members in January: Airways New Zealand – the country’s air navigation service provider – Project Wing – the UAS manufacturer and UTM service provider – and uAvionix – an ADS-B and non-ADS-B remote identification manufacturer.
