ADW (Amsterdam Drone Week) has announced a strategic partnership with the Global Uncrewed Traffic Management Association (GUTMA).
According to Koen De Vos, Secretary General of GUTMA: “ADW is a major platform for fostering innovation and collaboration in the UAM and drone industries. This partnership allows us to bring our global expertise to the forefront of discussions on the future of digital aviation. We look forward to working closely with ADW to continue shaping the future of this evolving ecosystem.”
ADW will take place from 8 – 10 April 2025 in collaboration with Commercial UAV Expo Europe.
Nynke Lipsius, Director of ADW and Group Director Mobility at RAI Amsterdam, said: “GUTMA is a critical association for the UTM and drone ecosystems as they focus on a safe and efficient Air Mobility operations at all altitudes. Their thought leadership through research and global reach is invaluable, and as leading member of the ADW 2025 Digital Infrastructure working group, alongside influential organisations such as NASA, GSMA, and Eurocontrol, I am convinced that GUTMA will further strengthen the Air Mobility industry. We are excited to welcome their members and insights to ADW.”
GUTMA and ADW aim to enhance the integration of advanced air mobility systems and foster a thriving global ecosystem for drone operations. Together, they will enhance cooperation and promote safe and efficient air mobility activities on a global scale, such as the Harmonized Skies event scheduled for 13-15 November. This year, the event will span three days, hosted by the Federal Aviation Administration at its premises in Fort Worth, Texas, where the first large-scale commercial operations are currently taking place.
