ANRA Technologies has announced its successful bid to deliver U-space services for VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
Under the agreement, ANRA will implement its new “ANRA Noon” UTM platform. “This platform will enable secure, efficient, and scalable drone operations across various use cases, including research, commercial, and public safety applications,” said the company in a press release. “ANRA will provide mandatory U-space services for flight authorization, geo-awareness, network ID, and traffic information throughout Finland. Noon will empower VTT with real-time airspace intelligence, flight planning, and regulatory compliance tools, ensuring the seamless integration of unmanned aircraft into Finnish airspace.
“We are honored to have been selected by VTT for this important initiative,” said Amit Ganjoo, Founder and CEO of ANRA Technologies. “ANRA Noon is designed to accommodate the unique requirements of diverse drone operations, and we look forward to supporting VTT in its mission to explore and implement future-focused drone solutions.”
The project will also support broader European U-space objectives, focusing on harmonized air traffic management for unmanned aircraft systems .”We at VTT are looking forward to collaborating with ANRA Technologies on implementing this UTM system for our research activities. This is one of the vital steps in our mission of paving the way for the industry on its road towards secure, safe and scalable drone operation business,” said Dr. Petri Mononen, Research Team Leader for VTT Innovative Air Mobility.
ANRA is undergoing certification by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to become the first U-space Service Provider (USSP). These two initiatives promote collaborative learning, ensuring that ANRA Noon remains the leading UTM service provider.
