Wolf Avionic has created a beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) control centre for remote uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) operations in Spain.
The centre will enable the remote and centralised management of autonomous aircraft and UAS fleets throughout the country, with real-time monitoring of each aircraft. It will help to facilitate the automation of routine operations and immediate deployment in critical missions, such as surveillance, search and rescue, traffic monitoring and fire control. The centre also provides interconnection with other airspace management systems and platforms, for compatibility with EASA regulations and air traffic control bodies.
The Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency certified Wolf Avionic for BVLOS operations in November 2024.
