The BBC has reported that a number of unidentified drones have been spotted over three UK air bases. The news outlet said on November 23 that the United States Air Force has confirmed the sightings that occurred between November 20 and 22.
The drones were spotted over RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk as well as RAF Feltwell in Norfolk. All three bases are used by the US Air Force, which told the BBC that it was unclear if the drones were hostile. The US Air Force and UK Ministry of Defence did not confirm whether any counter-drone measures were used when asked by the BBC.
