The UK Future Flight Challenge is a GBP300 million programme, jointly funded by the UK government and industry, to position the UK as a world-leader in the third aviation revolution. Ahead of the launch of Phase III in September, participants are invited to submit a video to showcase the expertise they could bring to the project.
KTN and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) have set up this new Future Flight Challenge Showcase to allow those currently delivering a Future Flight project or those who wish to get involved in the competition’s forthcoming Phase III to showcase their expertise. According to the KTN press release, this is an opportunity to find the missing capability or technology needed to complement your project or to showcase your services and expertise. The video could focus on what is on offer and/or what end-users, services, capability, technology, or assets are needed for the project.
The video Showcase will be widely accessible and promoted and the aim is to help match expertise to projects and proposals. A 2 minute video recorded using Zoom or a smart phone can be uploaded to the platform outlining relevant expertise and the collaborative partners needed for Phase III work.
Video submissions will be reviewed by UKRI and KTN before they can be included in the Showcase.
The deadline for submission is 20 August. More instructions and video down submission here.
