Soarizon by Thales is upgrading its ScaleFlyt drone management software designed to plan, fly and track safe and compliant drone missions. A new feature named Flights combines the Fly and Log tools into a single tool. This provides one location to record flight information and connects a number of elements between both services.
The main visual change results in the disappearance of the Log icon and renaming of the Fly menu item into Flights.
According to Soarizon, if you never used the Fly tool, nothing else will change for you, Flights will simply replace Logs, with a few extra features. If, on the other hand, you used the Fly tool regularly, a Draft Flight will be created within your mission and all your previously recorded Checklists, Weather Observations and Notes will be moved to this Draft Flight. In an upcoming upgrade you will be given the opportunity Flights and move individual items to other Flights for a better organisation of the records, if you so wish.
The next generation release of ScaleFlyt will go live at 09.00 am CEST on Thursday 18th of August
