Raytheon to produce Coyote C-UAS in UAE

Raytheon has signed a term sheet with the United Arab Emirates’ Tawazun Council to produce the Coyote counter-uncrewed aircraft system (C-UAS) interceptor in the UAE.

Announcing the agreement on its social media, Raytheon said the move would strengthen defence ties between the US and UAE, and boost readiness and supply chain resilience.

Coyote C-UAS kinetic and non-kinetic variants are designed to defeat small to large target UAS at long ranges and high altitudes and are capable of defeating single drone threats as well as swarms.
