Orkid, a developer of VTOL drone technology, has signed a letter of intent to supply eVTOL drones to Flyzz, in order to provide drone deliveries across Mexico.
The Orkid 260 VTOL drone is supported by Elsight’s beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) connectivity platform Halo, which aggregates multiple cellular, SatCom, and RF communications links.
After three years of development, Flyzz is carrying out pilot tests in urban areas to demonstrate that drone delivery is viable, safe and sustainable. The company launched a crowdfunder in July to attract further investment.
