Danish U-space service provider Naviair UTM plans the largest update to date of its UTM platform on 20 July 2021. The UTM platform update will provide access to a number of new functionalities that aim to facilitate the planning and management of drone flights, says the air navigation service provider.
The update also forms the basis for Naviair UTM to later launch an ‘airspace manager’ function. The purpose of the airspace manager is to digitise the application and permission process by onboarding all actors who manage permits for drone flying in their restriction zones.
