Israeli defence company orders Ondas’ Iron Drone Raider

Ondas Autonomous Systems’ (OAS) Airobotics subsidiary has received a purchase order for its Iron Drone Raider counter-uncrewed aircraft system (C-UAS) from an Israeli defence company. The order aims to expand the distribution of the system for additional military and homeland security governmental end users.

An Ondas Holdings press release states that during the third quarter of 2024, OAS “secured several initial orders in the defence market, totaling approximately $14.4 million, which included several purchase orders totaling USD9.0 million from a major government military customer for the Iron Drone Raider system”.

Commercially launched last year, the AI-integrated Iron Drone Raider is designed to neutralise hostile drones while minimising collateral damage.
