Safe integration of automated drones is a key motive behind UK unmanned traffic solutions provider Altitude Angel joining the Construction, Operation & Maintenance through Innovative Technology (COMIT) organisation. The company is the first UTM business to join the construction industry association and Altitude Angel CEO Richard Parker says he looking for ways to bring value, efficiencies and improve safety across the industry.
“As the use of drones within construction increases, so will the need to safely manage the skies,” said Toby Potter, vice-president of sales and partnerships, adding that drones need to be efficient and safe while ensuring “operators are fully compliant with the appropriate regulation and procedures to support greater automation in conduction flights.”
