The Global UTM Association (GUTMA) has announced both new and re-elected members to its Board of Directors.
Chris Lyons, Head of Uncrewed Traffic Management (UTM) at Zipline, joins as a newly elected member. Lyons led the development of Zipline’s UTM platform for global commercial drone integration. He also brings experience of fostering an environment where open source technologies and flexible technical standards enable inclusive and sustainable growth in the drone industry.
Luke Gumley, Head of Airservices Australia’s Integrated Airspace Program; Ralph Schepp, Co-founder and COO of Droniq GmbH; Reinaldo Negron, Head of UTM at Wing; and Shinji Nakadai, Founder and CEO of Intent Exchange Inc., have all been re-elected.
The Board is completed by Amanda Boekholt, Deputy Head of the Strategy and Innovation Unit at the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA), who also serves as Treasurer; Hrishikesh Ballal, Founder and Managing Director of Openskies Aerial Technology; Co-president Sebastian Babiarz, Head of Airspace Innovation for Europe at DroneUp; and Thomas Neubauer, Co-founder and CEO of Dimetor.
GUTMA has also conveyed its thanks to outgoing Board Member Amit Ganjoo from ANRA Technologies for his significant contributions to GUTMA over the past four years.
