Global UTM association extends its reach with new members

The Global Uncrewed Traffic Management (UTM) Association (GUTMA) has welcomed two new members to its broadening family. In addition to Haylon Technologies and Flyvercity who joined in August, Israel Aerospace Industry (IAI) has also recently joined.

IAI is Israel’s largest aerospace and defence company. Its wide range of Unmanned Aerial Systems gather intelligence, target missions and survey borders for more than 50 customers all over the world.

Haylon Technologies is creating the next generation of battery management systems for electric aerospace. Their unique combination of hardware and software allows for lab-level battery performance in the field, enabling them to produce smart battery packs with 200% of the energy density and cycle lives of current market-leading products.

Flyvercity is an Israeli start-up company focused on building solutions to support urban drones in Beyond Visual Line Of Sight (BVLOS) flights. The company builds unmanned traffic management services for drone operations to leverage new capabilities of 5G networks and enable safe mass flights in challenging urban environments and overcome regulatory barriers.
