The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) seeks a Strategy and Safety Management Director based at the agency’s headquarters in Cologne, Germany. Responsibilities include:
- provide vision, strategic direction and leadership to the Directorate’s management.
- drive the efficient execution of the Agency’s mission and strategy building up on the overall intelligence collected in all aviation domains.
- establish strategic priorities and objectives for the Directorate, being responsible for the overall capacity, capability and competence of the Directorate, aiming to ensure cost effectiveness, efficiency, and sound management of the functions.
As a member of the EASA Executive Committee, reporting to the Executive Director duties include:
- be involved in the Agency’s strategic decision-making process. You will advise on effective strategy implementation, sharing your expertise to optimise the performance of the organisation. You will attend the EASA Governance meetings.
- be a partner of EASA’s Management Community and the leader of the Strategy & Safety Management Directorate team, acting according to the EASA values and leadership principles.
