DroneHub Northern Netherlands and DronePort Rotterdam have announced a partnership to foster growth by unmanned operators. This collaboration is a strategic step in the development of unmanned aviation in the Netherlands, with a joint focus on four core areas: regional cooperation, hydrogen, connectivity and offshore applications.
This collaboration is an example of how regional partners can complement and reinforce each other. DroneHub Noord-Nederland, supported by the provinces of Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe, Omni Drones and Drone Delivery Services and DronePort Rotterdam, supported by the Province of Zuid-Holland and the municipality of Rotterdam are combining their expertise to further develop the unmanned aviation sector.
The partners are developing a strategic roadmap towards the future at the Techhub in Assen and invite further participants to join the regional initiative.
