DJI has told Unmanned Airspace that it has ceased production and sales of its portable AeroScope drone detection platform, though its static unit is still being marketed. AeroScope “rapidly identifies UAV communication links, gathering information such as flight status, paths, and other information in real-time” according to the product’s website. There has been considerable speculation about the status of Aeroscope following social media reports that the drone detection system used by Ukrainian forces had ceased to operate, reports refuted by DJI.
