Cyberhawk receives FAA nationwide BVLOS waiver

Cyberhawk has been granted a nationwide Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) waiver by the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The BVLOS waiver allows Cyberhawk to operate drones without the need for a visual observer, to conduct longer and more complex missions without line-of-sight constraints, and provide inspection services over larger areas and in remote locations. Scott Lashmit, Cyberhawk’s US Aviation Manager said the nationwide BVLOS waiver enables the company to potentially more than double the amount of surveyed assets collected in a day.

Cyberhawk undertakes projects to support critical infrastructure sectors, including utilities, oil and gas, as well as capital projects.
