Hamburg-based Beagle Systems has secured EUR 5 million in seed funding, co-led by PT1 and AENU with the continued support of its existing shareholders.
The company aims to deploy long-range drones and advanced sensor technology for critical infrastructure applications in Europe. It has begun to replace helicopters in natural gas pipeline monitoring in Germany, offering a drones-as-a-service alternative.
Beagle Systems has obtained operational approval for flights in European Union airspace and can currently cover most of the EU area, apart from densely populated areas.
The company is currently hiring for 14 open positions to help with its expansion plans.
