Aloft has launched the Aloft UTM SDK, which enables hardware manufacturers and software providers to integrate the company’s airspace services into their own products. Drone pilots and enterprise fleets can now access features including flight logging, real-time telemetry and compliance monitoring from their platform of choice.
Aloft reports collaborations with Autel, Skydio, and Rigitech, as well as its latest integration with Dronelink.
Dronelink provides a software platform for flight planning, automation, and data capture. Through the Aloft integration, Dronelink users can benefit from more streamlined flight logging and compliance tracking, helping them stay compliant, improve operational efficiency, and prepare for more advanced operations.
The Aloft UTM SDK is designed to simplify the integration of advanced UTM and logging features into drone hardware and software. With just a few lines of code, developers can provide their users with the ability to transmit real-time flight data to the Aloft network for display on the user’s Aloft AirControl dashboard, as well as capture and upload comprehensive flight logs to Aloft servers. Offline support is also provided for uninterrupted operations in areas without connectivity. Flight logs are automatically uploaded once a connection is re-established.
