AIRmarket has expanded its network with the installation of an RTM (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System Traffic Management) airspace surveillance kit at St. Paul Municipal Airport. AIRmarket’s SKYLINK RTM kit is powered by AstraUTM.
The County of St. Paul is part of the Alberta Hub network and a participant in the Alberta RTM Trials (iART). This addition to the network extends AIRmarket’s surveillance network to Northeastern Alberta and will be used to connect airports within the Alberta Hub.
iART is a Clean Resource Innovation Network funded initiative, which aims to make beyond visual line of sight operations routine, sustainable and commercially accessible. In June, the AIRmarket team conducted its first night flight as part of the initiative.
