Simon Crowther has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of AirMap, reports the Unmanned Traffic Management services company. Simon Crowther is an experienced technology leader with a track record of creating winning hardware and software businesses and leading high performing teams. Prior to joining AirMap, he was a Managing Director at Yamaha Motor Ventures & Laboratory Silicon Valley, where he invested in technology companies driving disruptive change. Crowther previously served as CEO of Nearmap, an aerial imagery technology and location data company. He holds a BA from the University of Leeds and a Masters in Business and Enterprise from the University of Melbourne.
