Air Taurus is hosting a demonstration of emergency response drone operations in collaboration with the Irish Health Service (HSE), University of Galway, Eco Powered Cabinets, and Staunton’s Pharmacy.
The event will show how drones can boost emergency response and healthcare delivery for remote island communities, ensuring faster access to critical medical supplies.
The project’s drones can carry a COPD Remote Care Package which includes a blood pressure cuff, pulse oximeter, thermometer, and iPad for virtual patient monitoring; cardiac monitoring devices; and emergency response supplies including trauma kits and essential medicines.
The demonstration will take place at Carrowmore Beach, Louisburgh, County Mayo at 10 a.m. on Wednesday 26 February. Interested parties can RSVP via an online form.
