Aerial Tools Aps of Denmark has been selected to take part in the TALOS EU project, which addresses challenges in the European photovoltaic operations sector through robotics and artificial intelligence.
The company is one of 12 chosen from 166 applicants. It will provide beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) real-time aerial inspections of solar Infrastructure.
Starting this month (April 2025), Aerial Tools and the other selected companies will join the TALOS support programme for nine months, receiving technical guidance and expert assistance in engineering integration, testing, and validation from the TALOS consortium. The solutions will then be demonstrated across three pilot scenarios with the aim of reducing cost and increasing safety.
Collectively, the projects will receive a total funding of EUR 1.8 million.
