The Advanced Air Mobility Institute has signed a Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding with Grey Jay, an equitable mobility advocacy group based in Montreal, QC, Canada, and Montana First Nation (MFN) Management, based in Maskwacis, Alberta, Canada. The agreement aims to explore drone technology solutions addressing essential mobility and logistics challenges faced by the Montana First Nation community, including identifying key barriers such as drone selection, pilot training, regulatory clarity, airspace governance, and community involvement.
The partners aim to propose actionable solutions, develop guidelines, and support MFN Management in implementing a drone service for medical supplies, mail delivery, emergency responses, and water advisory notifications.
