- Follow up on the proposals presented in Chengdu, China in the fall of 2019 on the JARUS “Future Work” and “possibly agree among our members the way forward including an updated mission, organizational structure and workflow with a resolution to gain consensus on the related new workplan for the years ahead.”
- Consist of a three-hour session on Monday, October 26 and a three-hour session on Friday, October 30.
- Be recorded and provided to JARUS members who are not able to participate on those days/times and voting via email will be allowed to also support full participation.
The JARUS letter also reminds readers that the position of JARUS Chair is vacant following the resignation of Jukka Hannola (Finland). “A call for nominations for a new Chair from Europe or Africa was issued earlier this year, however no nominations were received. This will be discussed at the virtual plenary, with a proposal that in the interim, LIU Hao will continue to act as the Chair.”
