European standards agency Eurocae has published ED-270 – minimum operational performance specification for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) geo-caging.
The document contains minimum operational performance standards for geo-caging functions. The specifications describe performance without prescribing its design and implementation as far as possible. Compliance with the standard is recommended as one means of assuring that the Function will perform its intended sub-functions satisfactorily under all conditions normally encountered in routine aeronautical operation and will comply with applicable regulations.
