Under the EU-South Asia Aviation Partnership Project, DGCA India is hosting a Regional two-day workshop on “UAS Regulatory Framework and Airspace Integration” , which will take place in Delhi on 7-8 November 2019 at the Indian Aviation Academy (IAA), New Delhi for the benefit of the South Asia region in partnership with the European Union. The workshop will include a review of the regulatory framework governing the operation of drones and their safe integration into the airspace from South Asian and European points of view.
According to India’s DGAC:
“It will provide the opportunity to explore alternative regulatory approaches and to compare and learn from past experience in our respective regions. The second day will also give industry players an opportunity to share their view so all the perspectives in this emerging sector are fully represented. Key South Asian and European stakeholders are invited to provide a range of insights into drone technologies, regulatory needs and urban air mobility.”
