US Army seeks C-UAS radar model for remote weapon systems

The US Army Contracting Command – New Jersey on behalf of the Product Director Crew Served Weapons is seeking information from organisations that possess a counter uncrewed aerial systems radar module for use with remote weapon systems. 

Information is being sought for radar systems with mature technologies that can be readily modified and integrated. Systems should be capable of detecting Class 1 and 2 low, slow, and small UAS targets up to 2 km, and feature a multi-target tracking capability. Other requirements include:

  • Power per MIL-STD-1275
  • Environmental ruggedisation as per MIL-STD-810H
  • Operational at temperatures of +140 degrees Fahrenheit to -50 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Capable of supporting or being easily modified to allow for control over ethernet, RS232, or RS422
  • 15-year procurable life
  • Mean Time Between Failures of 15,000 hours
