The United States Department of Defense has announced additional security assistance to meet Ukraine’s critical security and defence needs as part of the surge of security assistance President Biden has directed.
This latest support package includes an unspecified number of VAMPIRE counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) and munitions, C-UAS gun trucks and ammunition, mobile C-UAS laser-guided rocket systems and other C-UAS equipment including air surveillance radars.
The United States has now committed approximately USD 65.9 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s invasion on February 24, 2022.
