SkeyDrone, Senhive and Proximus team up for drone detection

SkeyDrone, Senhive and Proximus have joined forces to introduce a drone detection system to the market.

Unauthorised drone activities are a threat to infrastructure and industries. Using Proximus’ telecommunications and digital infrastructure in Belgium, Senhive’s drone detection sensors will be strategically installed on eligible telecom towers. The drone detection network will be gradually extended and Proximus NXT will play a role in commercialising the solution.

SkeyDrone is responsible for the software and services, providing a real-time overview of the airspace traffic situation, visualising the position of both the drone and the pilot. The system includes intrusion detection alerts, enables visual analytics and integrates with existing uncrewed traffic management (UTM) systems to distinguish authorised from unauthorised drone flights.
