Rohde & Schwarz has launched ARDRONIS Detect, which is designed to detect and identify various types of drones.
ARDRONIS Detect is the basis component of the ARDRONIS system, a counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) technology that offers detection, localisation, and identification capabilities. The system is designed to detect drones using a range of signals, including FHSS and analogue and digital video signals.
ARDRONIS Detect operates via the ARDRONIS Control Center software, which provides an interface for scanning, displaying detected signals, and other options. It can be used in combination with existing command and control systems.
Jens Steinwandt, Head of Product Management SPM/C-UAS at Rohde & Schwarz said ARDRONI Detect has been designed to be deployed in various settings, including fixed, semi-mobile, and mobile configurations for defence, security, and critical infrastructure applications.
The system is available now and Rohde & Schwarz says customers can upgrade their existing equipment or purchase a new system.
