Parsons has announced that it has joined forces with Rafael’s United States subsidiary to offer counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) technologies to the US Marine Corps.
The Marine Corps seeks a C-UAS system that can detect and neutralise small UAS that pose a threat to its installations around the world.
The companies told Breaking Defense that their combined bid will include Rafael’s Drone Dome System, with Parsons operating as the prime contractor providing programme management, sustainment and systems integration.
Breaking Defense also reports that the Marine Corps plans to award a contract to one vendor in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2024.
