The Oklahoma Department of Commerce has announced that Danish counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) specialist, MyDefence, has selected Oklahoma City for its second US-based office. The company is planning an initial investment of more than USD1.2 million.
MyDefence has identified the newly constructed Convergence development near downtown Oklahoma City for its new operations and plans to be housed in the building by 2025. The Convergence multi-phase project is located within the newly established Oklahoma City Innovation District.
“Oklahoma has some of the strongest aerospace and defence infrastructure in the nation – it only makes sense that we’re seeing more UAS companies invest here,” said Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt.
