The UK government is announcing a new package of military support for Ukraine, worth more than UKP100 million. The support package, which will be provided using money from the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU) and includes the MSI-DS Terrahawk Paladin, a platform which can track and destroy drones and protect critical national infrastructure.
According to a Linkedin post from Advanced Protection Systems Inc
“APS FIELDctrl 3D MIMO radars and C2 software is now a part of MSI-DS’ cutting-edge product, namely MSI-DS TERRAHAWK VSHORAD. This platform, complemented by innovative counter-drone technology from APS, has been delivered to overseas clients in significant numbers.
MSI-Defence Systems Ltd is a UK-based company leading in the design, development, and production of defence systems. It boasts various defence systems such as Gunnery Weapon Systems, Navigational Plotting Tables, Tactical Shelters, and Underwater Systems.”
The UK and Denmark launched the IFU in 2022 and “the UK engages closely with Ukraine to procure capability that best meets the needs of its armed forces. Since then, five other nations have contributed to the IFU, demonstrating the unity and resolve of allies and partners in supporting Ukraine,” according to a UK government press release.
