Bionic System Solutions (BSS) has concluded its participation in the NATO Science and Technology Trial SET-348 on Bornholm, Denmark. The company tested its acoustic detection systems in complex environments and said its Komodo system demonstrated its effectiveness in detecting small uncrewed aerial systems.
BSS is also taking part in another major exercise, this time in Oksbøl, beginning Nov 26. This will involve deploying eight new systems, named Iguana, for long-distance artillery and mortar localisation through acoustic sensing. The Iguana system is set to be ready for deployment in 2025.
