Invariant and Anduril awarded Marine Corps C-UAS contracts

Invariant Corporation and Anduril Federal, a division of Anduril Industries Inc., have been awarded a US Department of Defense (DoD) combined USD400,000,000 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the integration and delivery of a counter-uncrewed aerial system engagement system and associated hardware, software, and services.

“Each company will be awarded its first order for First Article Test units and Programme Management Support within one week of contract award,” DoD said in a contract announcement. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama; and Costa Mesa, California, and is expected to be completed by October 2031.

DoD says the contract was competitively procured with proposals from four offerors received. Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
