The G& leaders’ summit which took place in the Elmau in the Bavarian Alps in June 2022 was once again secured using the modular drone detection and defense system GUARDION, a drone protection system developed by ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik and Rohde & Schwarz.
Different modules of the GUARDION multi-sensor multi-effector system – networked by ESG’s core intelligence ELYSION – were part of the security architecture and successfully protected the protected areas around Elmau from unauthorized drone overflights.
