INTERPOL has issued the final call for counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) technology providers for its drone countermeasures exercise. The event takes place in two locations, Sevilla in Spain in May and San Diego in the United States in September. Interested parties may participate in either or both.
The exercise will involve red/blue teaming and is designed specifically for law enforcement C-UAS operators and decision makers. The red team of skilled drone operators will simulate various threats, from surveillance and smuggling to more complex challenges like swarm attacks and electronic warfare tactics. The blue team will deploy drone detection, identification, and neutralisation technologies to protect critical infrastructure, public safety, and law enforcement operations.
The event will offer a hands-on opportunity to test and refine capabilities in real urban settings that will continue their day to day operation throughout.
