Lithuanian, Estonian and Ukrainian national news sources report that the European Commission will not fund the drone wall proposed by some EU members.
Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Latvia, Poland, Finland and Norway proposed that uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) could constantly monitor their borders with Russia and Belarus. The countries also proposed a network of counter-UAS defences.
The countries are to look for other sources of funding for the initiative.
