The Chilean government has awarded Israeli manufacturer Skylock a contract for the supply of three counter-drone systems, to locate, mitigate and capture unauthorised drones, according to a LinkedIn post by Skylock. The company’s multi-layered platform is comprised of modular, passive and/or active systems for the detection, verification and neutralization of unauthorised drones. The solutions are designed to anticipate and rapidly respond to unlawful drone incursions and are aimed at governments, municipalities and homeland security agencies.
