Capture Systems unveiled its anti-threat intelligent detector (ATID) at ISDEF 2019 Defense and Security Exhibition in Tel Aviv, aimed at protecting critical infrastructures, airports and prisons. Based on the company’s Caracal positioner, ATID uses real-time image processing to detect up to five drones or any other threat simultaneously with both day and thermal cameras.
The system can be assembled with a GPS in order to predict the drone direction using the Global Positioning System units, and includes an option to be fitted with weapons offering the possibility to destroy the threats. A jammer can be integrated to jam the threats at a range of up to 1 km.
