Allen-Vanguard has announced a strategic collaboration with Metis Aerospace to address the growing requirement for a mobile detect and defeat counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) capability.
Metis, experienced in the RF detect domain, manufactures several products that are part of many larger protection systems across a wide range of sectors. The company advises the UK Ministry of Defence and receives research funding to develop new technologies, such as its Skyperion C-UAS. Allen-Vanguard also has a history of defeating RF threats, including counter-drone systems such as Ancile, that are used by militaries, security forces and NGOs.
