Drone company Airobotics has announced it is acquiring the counter drone technology developer Iron-Drone. Incorporating the Iron-Drone technology into Airobotics’ systems will enable the interception of hostile drones, as another feature in a fully automated urban drone infrastructure, says an Airobotics LinkedIn post. Through Airobotics’ infrastructure, security and surveillance officers will be able to neutralise these threats while utilizing the Airobotics’ Optimus drones, for ongoing operational monitoring, emergency response, and video surveillance.
