UK UTM company Altitude Angel and UAS technology supplier Heliguy are to form a strategic partnership to provide a UTM/counter UAV solution to aerodromes and strategic infrastructure owners across the globe.
Toby Potter, Altitude Angel, VP sales and partnerships, said: “We are excited to be partnering with Heliguy as together we can provide anyone from ANSPs to airports, private landowners to prisons, with an innovative and market-leading UTM/counter UAV solution.”
Michael Smith, Heliguy, drone defence specialist, said: “The collaboration will see us work together to help to open up and welcome authorised, legitimate drone usage and protect airspace from rogue UAVs, giving airspace managers the confidence and necessary data to be able to better understand the challenges and advantages of integrating UAVs into our skies. We are in the advanced stages with international airports and major mines around the world to expand our provision to make Heliguy’s drone defence solution a truly international system, which will include Altitude Angel as a key partner.”
