The US Department of Defense has announced that the 90th Contracting Squadron at F.E. Warren AFB, WY, has given notice of their intent to award a firm fixed price purchase order to De-Drone, Inc., for Dronetracker systems for Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) detection.
According to a notice in the federal business opportunities registry the award is “on a sole source basis utilizing FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The 90th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for services that include the De-Drone Licensing.”
