The BURDI.eu project is calling on drone operators and uncrewed aerial system (UAS) geographical zone managers to participate in a survey that aims to assess the cost of U-space.
The EU-funded Belgium-Netherlands U-space Reference Design Implementation (BURDI) project is a three-year initiative that aims to implement a U-space airspace concept able to manage various, dense and complex UAS operations in controlled, uncontrolled and urban air mobility environments.
Led by Future Needs, the survey aims to shed light on U-space user preferences for a U-space that is economically sustainable and socially accepted.
The survey will take approximately 15 minutes, consists of multiple-choice questions, and all responses will be kept confidential.
